Fleet overview
Read the monitoring table for your screens and each screen’s Health and commands tab.
Open fleet monitoring
- In the menu, open the Screens section.
- Click the Monitoring tab.
You can also open app.pixlova.com/supervision directly.
At the top, the Fleet monitoring page shows fleet counters: number of screens, online, offline, never connected, without Player and with an incident.
Filter screens
The Filter list offers:
- All screens;
- Needs attention: screens that require your attention;
- Online, Offline, Never connected, Without Player.
Read the table
Each row is a screen. Click its name to open its page. Below the name is the player that drives it, or “no Player”.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Presence | Online, Offline, Never connected or No Player. Hover over the cell to see the time of the last contact. |
| Renderer | State of the player’s display software: OK, Starting, Degraded, Error, Stopped or Unknown. |
| Playback | What the player reports it is playing: Playing, Fallback content, Scheduled standby, Playback error or Unknown. |
| Output | Screen connection: detected, not detected or unknown. |
| Schedule | Up to date, Update in progress, Update failed or No schedule sent. |
| Incidents | Number of open incidents on the screen. |
Each column is a separate signal
An offline player can keep playing from its cache; a detected output does not prove the screen is on. Cross-check the columns before drawing conclusions.
The Schedule column shows Up to date when the player has applied the latest schedule you published. Right after publishing, it briefly switches to Update in progress while the player fetches and prepares the new content.
A screen’s Health and commands tab
On a screen’s page, the Health and commands tab gives the details of its monitoring. If an incident is open, a banner at the top shows it, with the rule concerned and the time it opened.
The four signals
- Presence: state, time of the last contact and the delay after which the player is considered offline.
- Player health: renderer state, free disk, memory and number of recent restarts, with the time of the last status received. A value the player does not measure is shown as “not available”.
- Rendering: reported playback and schedule state. This signal does not prove the panel is on.
- Output: connector assigned to the screen and whether a connection is detected.
Next to some signals, a current or stale badge tells you whether the information is recent.
Commands and screenshot
Below the signals, the Commands and Screenshot panels let you act on the player. See Remote commands.
Timeline
The Timeline panel lists the screen’s events, newest first: player startup, connection lost or restored, playback errors, schedule received then applied, commands, incidents opened or resolved.
- The Observed column gives the time the event happened. If Pixlova received it much later (for example after a network outage), the reception time is added below.
- The Older and Newer buttons let you browse the history.
