Creations
Design posters, menus and announcements for your screens with the Pixlova creation editor.
A creation (or composition) is a page you design in Pixlova for your screens: text, images, videos, shapes, icons, a clock, weather, a news feed, QR codes and more. You draw it in the editor, publish it, then show it on your screens just like an image or a video.
Creations are in the Content menu, Creations tab. Ready-made templates are in the Templates tab. Like all content, creations are shared by every site and every user of the organization.
The life of a creation
- Create: start from a blank page in your screen's format, or from a template.
- Design: add and adjust elements in the editor. The draft is saved automatically.
- Preview: check how it looks in your screens' format.
- Publish: each publication creates a version. Screens already showing the creation receive the new version; to show it for the first time, add it to a playlist or a program.
Required permissions
Creating, editing, publishing and deleting creations requires a role that can manage content. With a view-only role, you can open and preview creations but not edit them. See Organization.
The editor also works on a phone, but it is more comfortable on a computer.
