Invoices and cancellation
View your invoices, change your payment method, handle an overdue payment and go back to the Free plan.
These actions are reserved for the Owner and Billing manager roles.
Invoices and payment method
- Open Settings › Subscription.
- Click Invoices and payment method.
You are redirected to the secure customer portal of Stripe, Pixlova’s payment provider. There you can view and download your invoices and update your payment method.
This link only appears once your organization has subscribed. Plan changes and cancellation are not done in this portal, but on Pixlova’s Subscription page.
If a payment is overdue
If a payment fails, your organization is not blocked right away:
- Grace period: the Subscription page shows Payment overdue: entitlements kept during the grace period, with the date the period ends. You keep your plan. Update your payment method via Invoices and payment method.
- After the grace period, if the payment is still not settled, the state becomes Payment not settled: reduced entitlements, data kept. The Free plan’s limits then apply to new actions (activating a screen, inviting someone, uploading media). Nothing is deleted or turned off: screens already active stay active.
As soon as the payment is settled, your plan gets all its entitlements back.
Go back to the Free plan (cancellation)
Cancelling your subscription means going back to the Free plan at the end of the period already paid.
- Open Settings › Subscription.
- Under Change subscription, click Go back to the Free plan.
- Read the summary: your subscription stays active until the end date shown, then the organization moves to the Free plan.
- If you have several sites, choose Which site stays active?.
- If you have more active screens than the Free plan allows, check the Screens to keep active.
- Click Schedule the return to the Free plan. To give up, click Keep my plan.
The Subscription page then shows Return to the free plan scheduled on followed by the date. Until that date, you can change your mind by clicking Withdraw in the In progress box.
What happens next
Until the end date, nothing changes: you keep all your plan’s features and limits.
On the end date, the organization moves to the Free plan:
- the sites not kept become inactive and their screens go to standby;
- the screens not kept become inactive: they stop playing, but their schedule, content and history are kept;
- secondary users beyond the Free plan’s limit become inactive (suspended). The owner always keeps access;
- features reserved for the Basic and Pro plans (templates, AI assistants) are no longer available.
The organization’s content is kept. No data is deleted before a year. You can change which site stays active from Settings › Sites.
Without resubscribing within a year, inactive sites and their screens are deleted automatically.
Going back to a paid plan
If you subscribe again to a plan that covers all your sites, inactive sites become active again and suspended users regain access, within the plan’s limit. Screens stay on standby until you reactivate them. See Subscribe and change plans.
