Sites
Add, edit and delete your organization’s sites, and choose the current site in the header.
A site is a place where your screens are: a shop, a branch, a reception area, a room… Every screen and every player belongs to a site. Content (images, videos, creations, templates) does not depend on sites: it is shared across the whole organization.
The main site is the one created together with the organization.
How many sites your plan allows
The number of active sites depends on your plan:
- the free plan and the Basic plan include a single site; all users have organization-wide access to it;
- the Pro plan allows several sites; each user can then be assigned to all sites or only to some of them (see Team and roles).
At the top of the Sites tab, a reminder states what your plan allows, for example “Free plan: one active site.” or “Your plan allows as many sites as needed.”. To change plans, see Plans and billing.
View your sites
Click Settings at the bottom of the side menu, then the Sites tab. This tab is reserved for the owner and administrators.
Each site is shown as a card with:
- its name and a badge: Main site, Active or Inactive;
- its time zone, or “Organization time zone” if it has none;
- the number of screens stored in it;
- for an inactive site, its planned deletion date (“Deletion on …”);
- the Edit and Delete buttons.
Add a site
- In the Sites tab, find the Add a site block, below the list.
- Enter the Site name.
- If needed, choose a Time zone. If you keep the first choice, “The organization’s”, the site follows the organization’s default time zone.
- Click Add.
Two sites of the same organization cannot have the same name.
If your plan does not allow another active site, the block is replaced by the message “Your plan does not allow another active site.” and, if your role allows it, by an Upgrade your plan link.
Edit a site
- On the site’s card, click Edit.
- In the window, change the Site name or the Time zone.
- Click Save.
A site’s time zone is used for its scheduling.
Delete a site
Permanent deletion
Deleting a site cannot be undone.
The Delete button only appears when deletion is possible. An organization always keeps at least one site, and at least one active site: to delete your only active site, first activate another site.
- On the site’s card, click Delete.
- Read the summary of what deletion involves:
- the site’s screens are deleted and their licenses freed;
- its players are disconnected; to reuse a device elsewhere, you will need to pair it again;
- users and invitations limited to this site lose this access;
- your content and programs stay in the organization.
- Type the exact name of the site in the confirmation field.
- Click Delete permanently.
Programs and playlists attached to the site are kept at organization level. If you delete the main site, that role moves to the oldest of your other active sites.
Inactive sites
A site becomes inactive when your organization moves to a plan that includes fewer sites (for example going back to the free plan). When you change plans, you choose which sites stay active; the others become inactive at the end of the paid period.
On an inactive site:
- screens are on standby;
- you can neither add a screen nor pair a player.
At the same time, secondary users who no longer have any active site are suspended, as are those beyond the number of users of the new plan. The owner is never suspended.
A banner at the top of the Sites tab explains the situation and gives the date on which inactive sites will be deleted along with their screens if you do not take a sufficient plan again. This deletion happens one year after they became inactive. The organization’s content is kept. The Choose a plan link lets you change plans.
If you take a plan that covers your sites again, they become active again. Their screens stay on standby: it is up to you to reactivate them.
Change the active site
When some sites are inactive, the main user can choose which one to bring back into service.
- In the Sites tab, click Change the active site.
- Under Site to activate, choose the inactive site to bring back.
- If several sites are active and your plan does not allow more, choose under Site that becomes inactive the one that gives up its place.
- Click Activate this site.
The screens of the deactivated site go to standby; the screens of the activated site take the free licenses. The deletion date of inactive sites does not change.
The current site, in the header
With several sites, a list at the top of the app lets you choose the current site. It shows for example “Site · 4 in total” followed by the name of the chosen site, or All sites.
- Click the site list in the header.
- Choose a site, or All sites to show everything. From seven sites onwards, a search field helps you find the right one.
The chosen site:
- filters the home page and the Screens section (all screens, players, monitoring, incidents);
- is where new items are stored when you add a screen or pair a player. The form reminds you of it (“Site: …”) with a Change button. If All sites is selected and several sites are active, the app first asks you which site to work on;
- is remembered for each organization, on this browser.
On pages shared by the whole organization (content, scheduling, settings), the list is replaced by Scope: Whole organization.
With a single site, the header simply shows its name. If you only have access to some sites, the list only shows those: it reads “Site · N assigned” and offers All my sites.
