The Home page
What the application's Home page shows: setup progress, key figures, your screens right now and incidents to look at.
The Home page is the first page you see after signing in. You can reach it at any time with Home in the menu or by clicking the Pixlova logo at the top left.
Above the title, the page shows the name of your organization, or the name of the site selected at the top of the page (see Finding your way around).
Buttons at the top
- + Add a screen opens the Setup page. It is shown to members who can configure screens.
- + Schedule content opens the program assistant. It is shown to members who can publish. See Programming.
The “Getting started” box
As long as your first screen is not live, a box titled Your first screen in 3 steps appears at the top of the page. It ticks off the steps as they are done:
- Connect a first screen
- Upload an image or a video
- Show it on the screen
The Set up a screen button (then Continue setup) opens the Setup page. If you are the only member of your organization, an Invite a colleague link also leads to the team page. See Organization.
The box disappears once the three steps are done. You can also hide it with the Hide button: it then stays hidden for this organization in this browser.
Key figures
A row of figures sums up your organization, or the selected site:
- Screens online, with the number of screens offline or not linked yet.
- Open incidents.
- Screen licenses: licenses in use out of licenses included, and how many are still available.
- Storage: space used out of your plan’s quota. See Plans and billing.
On your screens right now
This list shows each screen with its status: Online (or what it is playing, such as Playing, Fallback content, Scheduled standby, Playback error), Offline with the time it was last seen, or Not linked yet. All screens → opens the full list.
If you have no screens yet, a link takes you to the setup.
Needs attention
This panel lists open incidents: the affected screen or Player, the problem and how long it has lasted. When a Player is offline, it keeps playing the last program it received. View screen or View Player opens the relevant page.
When there are no incidents, the panel says so. See Monitoring.
