Maintenance

What you see in the application before and during a Pixlova maintenance, and why your screens are not affected.

From time to time, Pixlova updates its service. During a maintenance, the application at app.pixlova.com is temporarily unavailable.

Your screens keep playing

A maintenance only affects the application. Your screens keep showing their programs throughout.

Before a maintenance

When a maintenance is planned, a banner appears at the top of every page of the application, starting with “Maintenance planned” and the day and times of the maintenance, followed by a message from Pixlova and the reminder “Your screens will keep showing their programs.”

Maintenance notices can also appear in Pixlova news (megaphone icon in the header). See Finding your way around.

During a maintenance

The application is replaced by a waiting page titled Pixlova will be back very soon. It shows:

  • a message from Pixlova about the maintenance;
  • the reminder that your screens keep showing their programs;
  • when known, the expected return time (“Expected back: …”).

There is nothing to do: this page updates by itself. As soon as the maintenance is over, the application comes back on its own.

If you were working on something when the maintenance started, the waiting page may appear while you are using the application. Changes you had not saved yet may need to be made again.

Service status

The Service status link, at the bottom of the sign-in page, leads to status.pixlova.com, which shows the state of the Pixlova service.
