Using Pixlova on a phone

The Pixlova application works on a phone; here is what changes on a small screen.

The Pixlova application at app.pixlova.com works in your phone’s browser, with nothing to install. You sign in the same way as on a computer. See Sign in.

What changes on a phone

  • The menu moves to the bottom of the screen: a bar gives access to the four sections, Home, Screens, Content and Scheduling.
  • The tabs of each section scroll horizontally on a single line; the open tab stays visible.
  • Tables are shown as cards: each row becomes a card that shows its information one under the other.
  • The header keeps the Pixlova logo, Pixlova news, the site selector and the account menu. The clock is hidden.
  • Settings are reached from the account menu (person icon, top right) with My account and settings: the settings tabs (Organization, Team, Sites…) are at the top of that page. See Finding your way around.

What works well on a phone

  • Checking your screens’ status and incidents from the Home page.
  • Uploading a photo or a video taken with your phone. See Media library.
  • Scheduling content with the program assistant. See Programming.
  • Setting up a screen on site: you can type the code shown on the screen directly from your phone.

Composition editor

The composition editor works on a phone, but it remains more comfortable on a computer. See Creations.

Signing in from your phone

The sign-in code and link only work in the browser where you requested to sign in. If you request sign-in on your phone, enter the code on your phone. If you request it on your computer and read your emails on your phone, type the code on the computer. See Sign in.
